NewHew Privacy Policy

NewHew does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app communicates exclusively with your Philips Hue Bridge over your local Wi-Fi network. No data ever leaves your home network.

All communication in NewHew is between your device and your Hue Bridge on your local network. NewHew does not connect to the internet, Philips Hue cloud services, or any third-party servers.

Your room names, light names, bridge IP address, and pairing credentials are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted externally.

NewHew contains no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, ad networks, or tracking libraries. No usage data, device identifiers, or behavioral data are collected at any time.

NewHew does not require a Philips Hue account, an ideasfromrick.com account, or any other account. You do not need to provide an email address, name, or any personal information to use the app.
